travel warning - WORLDWIDE

i have very few actual contributions to this blob, but i have some random things to tell you so bare with me. first off, my new favorite website is the state department website. yes, i'm a big polisci nerd. but what do you expect when we have like 10 free websites to play on and facebook isn't one of them?! anyways, i just got brewer hooked too... so game on. my favorite game is to look up these countries we're going to and look at the passport restrictions. but i just started reading all the travel warnings and stuff. normally the state department issues travel warnings for places after natural disasters or terrorist attacks or something. but they're limited to a single state... oh but wait. the latest travel warning out is WORLDWIDE. they can't do that! the gist of that one is "we just killed a bunch of important al-qaedas... so they hate us, don't leave your house." um. okayyy. the travel warning for japan that recently expired was about to keep us from stopping in japan... now what do we do about a worldwide travel warning? that's not even real.

in other news, we move our clocks ahead again tonight. that'll be 12 hours ahead. doesn't even seem real. wait until i'm like a day ahead of you all, that'll be fun.

i don't know what else to tell you all. except that i have a bunch of midterms to study for right now. my hands are cramping from typing so much, which is lovely. oh and brew & i have been rationing our snack supply. but since we're in the indian ocean now i okay'd opening one of our bags of dark chocolate covered pomegranates. best decision ever! we still have a couple boxes of tiger milk bars, two bags of gold fish, mangoes, candy corn, and two bags of pomegranates. we're doing good so far!
